When I decided to start writing these I asked around for ideas about what to write about. Everyone seemed to think just general health was something good for a chiropractor to write about. The idea my parents kept suggesting was the amount of water you need in a day. Most people know that you need 1 oz per every two pounds you weigh. But did you know if it’s a hot bright day, so very common in SD, you need an extra half an oz for every hour you spend in the sun. And if you’re active enough to sweat you need an extra half oz an hour. If you’re outside sweating in the sun you have to add those together and add an extra oz per hour.
