Are you one of those people who have wanted to seek chiropractic care but have always been afraid of the twisting and popping? At New Life Chiropractic we use the Pulstar adjusting unit. This allows for adjustments to be made in a natural standing, sitting, or laying position, and there is no twisting or popping. Though if you have received traditional chiropractic care before don’t let this turn you away from trying our new method. Research has shown adjustments with an impulse therapy hold longer and better than regular manual adjustments.

How does it work?

The PulStar uses a handheld Impulse Head containing Piezoelectric Sensors and is connected to a sophisticated computer program.  Each vertebrae or other joint is analyzed for proper function and then displayed as a graph providing both Doctor and Patient with precise information regarding joint functions. Then in treatment or adjust mode, the PulStar delivers a series of precise, computer controlled, gentle impulses to free-up joint fixation, relieve muscle spasm and restore normal joint function.

This is one of the things many people love about this unit  that before and after each adjustment,  a scan is completed to show the restriction to movement in each vertebrae. These easy to read graph are saved on each visit so you can see scientific proof of the change in your condition. Many patients even keep printouts of their treatments because they find it so interesting.  We could go into many more details about how this works but why don’t you come in and see for yourself!

One last thing we’d like to mention though is inner doctor reliability. When you go from one chiropractor to another because of a move or a trip you never know what he or she will be like compared to the last one, because everyone adjust by hand differently and have their own method of doing things. With Pulstar if you go to another Pulstar chiropractor you know you will be getting the same treatment.

We also provide free scans if you ever just want to see what it’s about. Note these are free scans NOT exams. The scan takes about 30 seconds and then a few minutes to talk about. You can leave with a print out of your scan at no cost or obligation.
